Folic Acid Deficiency Anemia

Folic acid is one of the B vitamins, and it helps your body make new cells, including new red blood cells, which carry oxygen, if you dont have it enough this cells happens anemia. Every day you need to eat products which have enough folic acid that is needed to your organism

This is very important for pregnant mums.

The following raise your risk for this type of anemia:
Eating overcooked food
Poor diet (often seen in the poor, the older people, and people who do not eat fresh fruits or vegetables)
Eat citrus fruits, leafy green vegetables, and fortified cereals.
Symptoms of anemia
Problems with concentration .
Lose your appetite and lose weight.
Feel weak and tired.

Diagnose the anemia
You should make blood tests to check the number of red blood cells and to see if your body has enough folic acid.
Check the level of vitamin B12. Some people whose folic acid levels are too low also have low levels of vitamin B12.

What you should do
To treat the anemia, you can take folic acid pills each day to bring your folic acid level back up.
When your folic acid levels will be normal, eat foods rich in folic acid so you don’t get anemia like ( fortified breads and cereals, leafy vegetables , citrus fruits, and dark green.)
